What some of the artists have to say.....
Charlie it was really good & ran like clockwork with no delays; very professional like we have grown to expect from CITP. Maybe next time out THE RESCU should be given a longer stint. Its unique , its different, its family entertainment at the highest level and of course , never to be forgotten, its FREE ,which means that thousands of music lovers can enjoy the best of Bands like THE RESCU .
The concerts are a must for Cape Town. Thank you Patricia de Lille and the top Brass at Lion of Africa including Priscilla Gross and Miss Mahuma. Marshall Music are proud to part of this community series of free concerts .
Ciao. Mike Vaughan

I thought it was a wonderful event, slightly less full than I was expecting. Sound was great, atmosphere was lovely, felt very welcome and at home with the organisers and musicians alike. All the feedback I received from friends was positive.
The publicity was great, I had primary school friends phoning up to ask if it was me on the posters so good visibility and reach. I thought it seemed a very efficient operation!
All the very best

The most recent concert in the park, courtesy of the Mayor, was one of the best concerts we have played since their inception. The sound was great, the professionalism of the sound engineers, their equipment and their patience in dealing with so many different bands was amazing. The audience was huge and extremely responsive and I did not find a single complaint at any level from anyone.
The only comment that I got on the day, and continuously since the gig, was how VERY UNFORTUNATE IT IS THAT THERE ARE NO MORE CONCERTS for the season. I find it inconceivable that a series of shows could not, like in previous years, take place and I think that the previous sponsors have made an EXTREMELY POOR judgment call in cancelling them.
Hopefully, with the help of new sponsors, you will be able to present another full season of diverse shows as they are a VERY IMPORTANT part of the Cape Town calendar, both for local and international audiences.
